Potassium Permanganate, Free Flow
Potassium permanganate (KMnO4), technical grade, guaranteed 97% purity. Also known as Permanganate of Potash, Condy’s crystals, or Permanganic acid, potassium salt. Used as an oxidizer, disinfectant, deodorizer, bleach, dye, tanning agent, and for air and water purification. It is a strong oxidizing agent that converts dissolved iron and manganese into insoluble oxides, which are removed through filtration. A 2 to 3 percent solution of potassium permanganate is used to regenerate green sand filters. Dissolving one teaspoon in one gallon of water is effective for treating athlete’s foot fungus infections. This product cannot be combined with other chemicals on the same invoice.

Sodium Perborate Tetrahydrate, Min 96%
Sodium Perborate Tetrahydrate (NaBO₃·4H₂O), with a minimum purity of 96%, is a technical-grade compound primarily used as a stable source of active oxygen. It serves a range of applications, including developing vat dyes, textile bleaching, and in the formulation of synthetic detergents and laundry products. Compared to more aggressive bleach alternatives like sodium hypochlorite, Sodium Perborate is less harsh on fabrics and dyes, making it ideal for cleaning and laundry bleaches. It is also used in dental compositions, electroplating, and as a laboratory reagent. The product is available as a white powder, sometimes forming clumps, and is moderately toxic by ingestion. Due to its strong oxidizing properties, it poses a fire risk when in contact with organic materials. Sodium Perborate Tetrahydrate is available for ground shipping via UPS or FedEx and cannot be shipped by air or priority services.
Key Features
- Stable source of active oxygen for cleaning and bleaching
- Less aggressive than sodium hypochlorite and other chlorine-based bleaches
